Welcome to Issaquah City Prints, a new small local business that aims to contribute to and highlight the vibrant local art community in Issaquah, WA. Founded by an Issaquah art teacher, we offer a unique and personal touch to our products, ensuring that you receive only the finest quality prints.
Our prints showcase landmarks of the Issaquah area. We believe art can bring people together, and our prints create a new way to connect the local community. We take pride in our work and strive to provide archival quality prints that reflect the unique character of Issaquah, WA.
OUR LOGO
For 26 years I have commuted to Issaquah on I-90 from Seattle. On the right and just before the Front Street exit (Exit 17) there is a huge view of Mt. Rainier sitting between Tiger Mountain and Cougar Mountain asking to be incorporated into some kind of art. Additionally I knew I wanted to represent Issaquah in my logo as the main focus of the image. This view of Mt. Rainier became the foundation for my logo.
Founder and Designer
My name is Karin Walen, and art has been with me throughout my life.
I am proud to say I have been teaching art in the Issaquah School District for 26 years. My focus has always been around traditional mediums, but I recently changed my focus to digital drawing. As it turns out, I love it!
I hope you enjoy my prints as much as I enjoy creating them.

THE DOGS
I am a huge a dog person. They lift my soul! I often include our dogs in my art, and you can find them here in my Issaquah City Prints. Each dog holds a special place in my heart and including them keeps them close. Look carefully and you'll see their names (Coil, Taxi, and Mitzi) on their collars.
